Worked on the authzed/spicedb repository to deliver Composable Schemas File System Import Support, enabling schema imports directly from the filesystem using Go’s fs.FS interface. Refactored the configuration system to accept a filesystem abstraction rather than a static directory path, and updated the import logic to operate with the new structure. This approach reduced manual configuration steps and minimized potential path errors, streamlining the deployment process. The changes improved schema compilation reliability and offered greater flexibility for schema management. The work demonstrated backend development expertise in Go, with a focus on file system management and robust configuration design within a production codebase.
