Worked on the grafana/grafana-aws-sdk repository to enhance observability for AWS Bedrock workloads by adding the LegacyModelInvocations metric to the Bedrock metrics map. This feature, implemented in Go, focused on ensuring that LegacyModelInvocations is recognized and trackable within monitoring dashboards, supporting more accurate data-driven decisions. The technical approach involved metrics instrumentation and seamless integration with AWS Bedrock, leveraging backend development and cloud services expertise. Throughout the month, disciplined version-control practices were maintained, and no major bugs were reported. The work improved metric recognition for Bedrock, enabling teams to monitor workloads more effectively and optimize their cloud-based operations.
