Worked on enhancing trading risk controls in the CounterpartyXCP/counterparty-core repository by implementing slippage parameter validation for Automated Market Maker (AMM) pools. Developed and integrated API-level checks using Python and YAML to ensure that slippage inputs remain within safe operational limits, thereby reducing the risk of excessive losses during trades. Focused on backend development and API design, the work introduced validation logic directly at the API boundary, strengthening the reliability and safety of AMM trading. Leveraged Docker for development and deployment, resulting in a more robust risk management framework and improved trustworthiness for users interacting with AMM pool endpoints.
