Developed the foundation for private image hosting within the mitodl/ol-infrastructure repository by establishing a private Elastic Container Registry (ECR) on AWS. Leveraging Infrastructure as Code principles and Python, implemented a secure repository named ol-ecr-private and applied a predefined JSON policy to manage access. This approach enables controlled storage and distribution of private Docker images, supporting secure deployment of private workloads across environments. The work focused on aligning infrastructure with security and compliance requirements, reducing the risk of unauthorized image distribution. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and governance for image access.
