Worked on stabilizing the build process for the yhirose/cpp-httplib repository by addressing a persistent compatibility issue with the Zstandard (zstd) library in CMake. Focused on refining build configuration logic, the developer implemented a targeted fix to ensure reliable detection of zstd for versions below 1.5.6, resolving a recurring build failure that affected both CI and local environments. Using CMake and build configuration expertise, the solution improved cross-version compatibility and reduced integration friction for downstream projects. This work emphasized maintainability and reliability in dependency management, supporting consistent, reproducible builds and enhancing developer productivity across varied development setups.
