Developed and delivered an email confirmation workflow for form submissions in the nextcloud/forms repository, enabling form owners to automatically send customizable confirmation emails to respondents after successful submissions. This feature was implemented using JavaScript and PHP, leveraging skills in API development, backend integration, and email handling. The work involved building the end-to-end pipeline from form submission to email dispatch, integrating with the existing notification subsystem, and ensuring reliability through continuous integration and peer review. By allowing dynamic placeholders in email content, the solution improved user communication and reduced manual follow-up, while establishing a foundation for future enhancements such as analytics and localization.
