Worked on the vitejs/docs-cn repository to implement a local search feature for VitePress, replacing the previous Algolia-based solution. This transition aimed to improve documentation performance, reduce reliance on external services, and enable greater customization. The technical approach involved configuring VitePress to integrate a local search provider, optimizing search speed and reliability for end users. Additionally, addressed a configuration issue that previously caused unstable search results, resulting in a more consistent user experience. The work demonstrated skills in configuration management, front end development, and TypeScript, with a focus on performance optimization and maintainability within a clear, commit-driven workflow.
