Worked on stability and correctness improvements for IIO Sigma-Delta drivers in the adisummerschool/linux and analogdevicesinc/linux repositories, focusing on resolving append status gating issues with SPI engine offload. Addressed two bugs by ensuring append status is only enabled when the CPU is actively reading samples and SPI offload is not in use, which reduced configuration breakages and improved data reliability in offload scenarios. Utilized C for kernel and device driver development, applying embedded systems expertise to align append-status behavior across repositories. The work demonstrated careful attention to cross-repo consistency and robust handling of data collection in complex driver environments.
