During December 2024, Dune Fro focused on optimizing CI/CD workflows for the truefoundry/infra-charts repository. They refactored GitHub Actions using Shell and YAML to ensure artifact generation scripts executed only when inframold directories or related scripts changed, reducing unnecessary runs and PR-trigger noise. By integrating precise path filtering into the update-artifacts trigger and removing redundant jobs, Dune improved feedback speed and deployment reliability. They also addressed a misconfiguration that previously caused broad PR triggers, reinstating targeted workflow execution. This work demonstrated a strong grasp of CI/CD pipeline optimization, GitHub Actions, and shell scripting, resulting in a more efficient and maintainable process.
