During December 2025, Bogdanovski enhanced the mindsdb/mindsdb repository by developing the SheetsHandler Column Name Query Compatibility feature. This work focused on enabling reliable queries on spreadsheet columns containing spaces or special characters, addressing a common pain point for users working with diverse data sources. Using Python and SQL, Bogdanovski adjusted the query execution logic and updated documentation to guide users on the new capability. The solution included an edge-case fix for columns with spaces, improving robustness and usability for spreadsheet-like data. The work demonstrated depth in backend development and database management, delivering tangible improvements to user query workflows.
