During August 2025, Dusty Mind focused on enhancing secure passphrase handling in the AOSC-Dev/aosc-os-abbs repository by integrating pinentry support into the GnuPG package. They updated build system configurations using Shell scripting to add pinentry as a dependency for both primary and retro package builds, ensuring consistent passphrase prompts across different environments. This work improved runtime reliability and build hygiene, addressing a key usability gap without introducing new bugs. By linking changes to a specific commit for traceability, Dusty demonstrated attention to maintainability and reviewability.
