During September 2025, Duszmox focused on stabilizing Swift bindings in the mozilla/uniffi-rs repository by addressing a critical issue in asynchronous function handling. By correcting the wrapping of async poll callbacks, Duszmox ensured that callbacks in Swift were invoked with the correct arguments, directly reducing runtime errors and simplifying debugging for developers integrating Rust and Swift. This work required a deep understanding of asynchronous programming and bindings generation, as well as proficiency in Swift. Although the contribution centered on a single bug fix, it demonstrated careful attention to cross-language interoperability and improved the reliability of uniffi-rs for Swift consumers.
