Worked on enhancing reliability and observability in the grafana/grafana-ci-otel-collector and grafana/shared-workflows repositories over a two-month period. Delivered a log buffering solution for GitHub Actions that groups log lines until a timestamped entry is detected, preventing loss of log tails and improving log processing accuracy. Added a pprof profiling extension to the OpenTelemetry collector, enabling runtime profiling for better debugging and system insight. Addressed CI/CD stability in shared workflows by pinning Docker Buildx to a specific version, reducing build and push failures. Utilized Go, Docker, and GitHub Actions, with a focus on configuration, data buffering, and unit testing.
