During December 2024, Emil Tichy enhanced the solarwinds/swi-k8s-opentelemetry-collector repository by implementing configurability for the storageClassName field in the Swo-agent’s persistent volume claim template. Leveraging DevOps practices and Helm templating with YAML, Emil enabled users to specify custom storage classes, supporting dynamic provisioning in Kubernetes environments.
