Worked on enhancing the reliability of the openclaw/openclaw repository by addressing issues related to tool-use integration after conversation history truncation. Focused on backend development and error handling, the work involved implementing a universal repair logic to pair orphaned tool results, ensuring that OpenAI tool outputs with stale call IDs no longer caused errors. Updated the testing suite to validate this new behavior, thereby improving the robustness of the agent’s workflow when handling truncated histories. Utilized TypeScript for API integration and comprehensive testing, resulting in a more stable and maintainable backend system for managing OpenAI tool-use results.
