
During a two-month period, Ebembi worked on the cockroachdb/docs repository, building a Python-based Algolia indexing system to replace the previous Jekyll workflow and restore essential documentation site assets. This involved developing environment-aware build scripts, implementing robust CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and managing dependencies for deterministic builds. Ebembi also established test scaffolding for commit workflows and addressed containerization issues using Docker and Bash. In addition, Ebembi delivered a production deployment notification system that automated deployment monitoring and status updates across Netlify, GitHub, and Slack, improving release transparency and reducing manual intervention. The work demonstrated strong backend and DevOps engineering depth.
