During August 2025, ec2-user focused on improving license metadata management and open source compliance for the microsoftgraph/msgraph-sdk-python repository. They addressed a packaging issue by updating the license field to the SPDX MIT identifier and specifying the LICENSE file using TOML, ensuring accurate license verification and compatibility with PyPI API requirements. This work enhanced downstream tooling support and clarified licensing for compliant distribution. By consolidating these changes, ec2-user enabled more reliable metadata handling across projects.
