Developed and released the Timelog plugin for the obsidianmd/obsidian-releases repository, introducing a structured time-stamping feature for lab-notebook style logging. The work centered on enabling users to insert timestamps under dated headers, supporting more organized and trackable note-taking workflows. Leveraging JSON manipulation and plugin development skills, the developer standardized the plugin’s naming from 'Time Log' to 'Timelog' to align with product conventions. The plugin’s description and release documentation were refined for clarity and user onboarding, ensuring discoverability and ease of use. All changes were consolidated in a single release, reflecting a focused and methodical approach to feature delivery.
