During May 2026, contributed to the gitbutlerapp/gitbutler repository by implementing COSMIC Terminal support for Linux users. This work involved integrating the COSMIC Terminal into the application’s settings and terminal-opening workflow, expanding the range of terminal options available and enhancing user flexibility. The feature required changes to configuration management and seamless integration with the Linux environment, demonstrating proficiency in Rust and Svelte as well as front end development. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with the primary focus on feature delivery. The update supports the product’s cross-terminal strategy and improves usability for users working in diverse terminal environments.
