Worked on enhancing the RAG service within the yetone/avante.nvim repository by implementing notebook indexing using nbconvert, which improved retrieval accuracy for RAG-enabled workflows. Focused on increasing deployment flexibility by introducing a configurable RAG service image, allowing for easier adaptation to various environments. Leveraged Docker for deployment and utilized both Lua and Python to integrate these features into the backend. Additionally, applied automatic code quality fixes through pre-commit CI Lite, reducing technical debt and supporting long-term maintainability. The work enabled more scalable and adaptable deployment of RAG services while streamlining maintenance and supporting robust backend development practices.
