Developed a targeted feature for the rancher-sandbox/rancher-desktop repository to enhance container file access handling within the WSL helper. Focused on intercepting API calls to the /containers/{id}/archive endpoint, the work involved registering request and response mungers to ensure reliable file access before container startup and throughout the container lifecycle. This approach improved the robustness of file-sharing and lifecycle management in WSL integration. The implementation was carried out using Go, leveraging skills in API development and containerization. During this period, the primary emphasis was on delivering this feature, with no major bug fixes addressed as part of the monthly work.
