During February 2025, Eek focused on enhancing the visual fidelity of the PopSusi/Frest repository by delivering landscape and environmental asset updates using Unreal Engine and environment art techniques. The work involved binary updates to grass materials, landscape painting materials, and the forest map, resulting in improved environmental visuals while preserving existing gameplay logic. Eek managed asset versioning through two disciplined commits, ensuring traceability and reproducibility of changes. No bugs were reported or fixed during this period. The updates aligned with the project’s art direction, supporting greater player immersion and engagement through higher visual quality, demonstrating depth in environment asset workflows.
