During December 2025, Dolma Ciege focused on enhancing the stability and maintainability of the SerenityOS/serenity codebase. Working primarily in C++, Dolma addressed two critical bugs by improving error handling in the Maps search feature, validating the presence of latitude, longitude, and display name fields before processing JSON data to prevent crashes from invalid input. Additionally, Dolma clarified the image processing logic in PixelPaint by removing a misleading comment and documenting the actual sorting method used in the median filter. These targeted improvements demonstrated careful attention to software robustness and code clarity, contributing to a more reliable and maintainable project.
