Worked on enhancing monitoring reliability within the grafana/jsonnet-libs repository by implementing the OpenSearch High Node Disk Usage Alert Filtering Enhancement. This feature introduced a filtering selector to the OpenSearchHighNodeDiskUsage alert rule, allowing filters to be applied during disk usage calculations and addressing edge cases in multi-node OpenSearch clusters. The approach improved the accuracy of disk usage alerts in clustered environments, ensuring more precise monitoring outcomes. The work leveraged skills in alerting and monitoring, utilizing jsonnet and yaml to define and configure the new alerting logic. No bugs were fixed during this period, with focus placed on feature delivery.
