Worked on the helix-editor/helix repository to standardize Clojure code formatting by introducing cljfmt as the default formatter. This change unified code style across the Clojure codebase, improving readability and maintainability while laying the groundwork for future automation of formatting and quality checks. The implementation involved configuration management using TOML and Clojure, ensuring that formatting rules are consistently enforced throughout the project. By establishing a single, enforceable formatter, the work reduced review overhead related to code style and made onboarding easier for new contributors. No major bug fixes were addressed during this period, with efforts focused on maintainability.
