Worked on enabling USB Device support for the mimxrt595_evk board within the zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr repository, focusing on hardware bring-up and integration with the USB Next stack and UDC driver. Leveraged C programming and embedded systems expertise to configure the USB PHY in the device tree and update system settings, ensuring functional USB connectivity on the target hardware. Applied targeted patches to activate USBD support and validated the implementation through hardware testing. This work established a foundation for broader USB device and host scenarios in Zephyr, streamlining future peripheral development and improving the onboarding process for USB-enabled embedded platforms.
