Worked on the NVIDIA-NeMo/Megatron-Bridge repository, focusing on improving the reliability of the MiMo-V2-Flash module. Addressed a critical bug in the forward pass by ensuring the attention_value_scale was correctly applied to the value tensor before entering the attention kernel, which resolved issues with attention scaling in production environments. Enhanced the module’s stability by implementing comprehensive unit tests in Python and PyTorch, verifying correct scaling behavior and preventing regressions across related tensors. Maintained API compatibility throughout the process, demonstrating a strong grasp of deep learning and transformer models while prioritizing robust testing and long-term maintainability in the codebase.
