Worked on the google/adk-python repository to enhance the reliability of ADK Web Server endpoints, specifically focusing on the eval and graph routes. Addressed a bug related to App object handling by ensuring the correct extraction of the root agent, replacing App objects with BaseAgent where appropriate. This adjustment improved endpoint stability and reduced runtime errors, facilitating smoother downstream analytics and integration. The work involved backend development and API design using Python, emphasizing correctness in endpoint processing. Although no new features were added during this period, the targeted bug fix contributed to a more robust and maintainable backend infrastructure.
