Developed an auditing feature for the better-auth/better-auth repository, focusing on enhancing authentication event visibility and protecting sensitive data. The work centered on building the Better Auth Audit Logs Plugin, which captures authentication events, infers severity, and redacts personally identifiable information to improve security observability and compliance readiness. Leveraging React and TypeScript for front end development, the implementation included targeted documentation updates to ensure plugin discoverability and support onboarding. Collaboration was demonstrated through co-authored commits and clear documentation practices. The feature addressed the need for robust audit logging within authentication systems, contributing to the overall reliability and transparency of the platform.
