Worked on the DataDog/integrations-core repository to upgrade the ClickHouse integration, enabling support for version 25.8 and expanding system-level monitoring capabilities. Leveraged Python and YAML to introduce new system metrics and error tracking, enhancing visibility and reliability across the integration. Improved log processing by supporting both plain and JSON logs with asynchronous metrics parsing, and restructured Docker-based infrastructure to streamline testing and onboarding. Updated dashboards, metadata, and documentation to align with the latest ClickHouse features, ensuring smoother deployment in new environments. The work focused on backend development, CI/CD, and monitoring, delivering improved observability and faster issue detection for users.
