During April 2025, Ekozah focused on enhancing the googleapis/google-cloud-cpp repository by addressing a bug related to custom header propagation in the Google Cloud Storage client. Ekozah developed and integrated an AddCustomHeaders mechanism, ensuring user-defined headers are reliably appended to outgoing REST API requests. This work involved refining the request handling flow in C++ to align with header customization requirements, improving the consistency of REST interactions. By resolving issue #15053, Ekozah demonstrated a solid understanding of cloud storage protocols and RESTful software development, delivering a targeted fix that deepened the reliability and flexibility of client-side header management in cloud environments.
