During a two-month period, Ekuna Matata established the foundational backend scaffold for the navikt/aap-meldekort-backend repository, focusing on project structure, licensing, and documentation to streamline onboarding and future development. In addition, Ekuna enhanced the navikt/aap-statistikk repository by improving documentation formatting and upgrading a key dependency in the build configuration, supporting more reliable deployments and clearer contributor guidelines. Working primarily with Kotlin and leveraging skills in build configuration and dependency management, Ekuna’s contributions centered on repository hygiene and maintainability. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to setting up robust project baselines and ensuring smoother future feature delivery without introducing bugs.
