Elvinas Smiltenis developed Bun-based installation support for the Kilocode CLI in the hacksider/kilocode repository, expanding installation options and improving accessibility for users. By integrating Bun into the CLI’s package management workflow, Elvinas enhanced onboarding and diversified installer reliability, allowing users to choose between multiple installation methods. The work involved updating documentation in Markdown and laying the groundwork for future Bun-focused packaging and continuous integration improvements. Over the course of one month, Elvinas focused on CLI development and package management, delivering a targeted feature that broadened platform compatibility and addressed the evolving needs of the Kilocode user base without introducing new bugs.
