During December 2025, Alex contributed to LedgerHQ’s ledger-live repository by addressing a UI reliability issue in the account list view. Using React and leveraging both JavaScript and TypeScript, Alex upgraded the flash-list dependency to version 2.2.0 and removed unused properties from the component, which resolved an overlapping display bug and improved scrolling performance. This targeted code cleanup not only enhanced rendering stability but also reduced the prop surface area, making the codebase more maintainable. Alex’s work laid the foundation for safer future upgrades, demonstrating a thoughtful approach to front end development and UI/UX design within a complex application.
