Elias developed the Pet Traits Display feature for the sunflower-land/sunflower-land repository, enhancing the marketplace by surfacing pet attributes and trait-reveal dates to buyers. He refactored the getItemBuffs logic to incorporate pet buffs, ensuring consistency between item and pet data models. Using React and TypeScript, Elias implemented modular data retrieval for pet traits and updated the TradeableInfo component to present this information in the user interface. This work improved buyer decision-making by reducing ambiguity around pet items and established a maintainable foundation for future pet-related features, demonstrating depth in frontend development and thoughtful alignment of data and UI layers.
