During April 2026, Elias Brange enhanced the phuhung273/aws-cdk repository by implementing role-based authorizer invocation for API Gateway using TypeScript and AWS CDK. He introduced an optional iam.IRole parameter to the authorizer invocation flow, passing it to the L1 construct to enable more granular IAM control and safer cross-account configurations.
