Elixx Li contributed to Tencent-TDS/KuiklyUI and CocoaPods/Specs, focusing on stability, cross-platform consistency, and dependency management. Over three months, Elixx delivered the OpenKuiklyIOSRender 2.6.0 integration for CocoaPods, ensuring seamless iOS adoption through careful podspec updates. In KuiklyUI, Elixx addressed critical UI bugs and lifecycle issues, such as visibility state management, RTL text alignment, and race conditions in Android’s RenderView destruction, using C++, Kotlin, and Ruby. The work emphasized robust error handling, resource management, and crash prevention across Android and OHOS environments, reflecting a depth of understanding in mobile development, UI reliability, and cross-language integration.

Concise monthly summary for CocoaPods/Specs (2025-10). Focused on delivering the OpenKuiklyIOSRender integration and ensuring repository readiness for the latest release.

During July 2025, KuiklyUI focused on stability and lifecycle reliability in Android environments. We implemented robust error handling for Android FileManager createNewFile by catching IOExceptions, logging the error, and returning null to callbacks to prevent crashes and improve robustness. We also fixed a race condition between RenderView destruction and contextHandler cleanup by ensuring destruction completes only after all cleanup operations finish and by removing the renderView from the manager map only after safe completion. These changes reduce crash risk, improve resource management, and lay groundwork for more resilient Android deployments.
