
Elko Led developed core automotive software features and improved documentation workflows across two open-source repositories. In sunnypilot/opendbc, Elko integrated PSA AEE2010_R3 communication support by creating DBC definitions and implementing CAN bus parsing, checksum logic, and safety features for adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, using C++ and Python. This work enabled robust message interpretation and platform support for the PSA Peugeot 208. In deanlee/openpilot, Elko stabilized the documentation build process by correcting Python script path references, ensuring reliable updates and clearer contributor guidance. The work demonstrated depth in automotive protocols, embedded systems, and Python scripting for maintainable solutions.
