Worked on the fieldenms/tg repository to enhance the reliability and consistency of backend test suites across multiple operating systems. Addressed a cross-platform issue by removing carriage return characters from a test validation message, which previously caused inconsistent results on Windows, macOS, and Linux. This targeted bug fix preserved the core test logic and maintained the handling of deactivatable dependencies, ensuring that existing functionality remained stable. Utilized Java and backend development skills with a focus on testing best practices. The change reduced flaky continuous integration results, shortened feedback cycles for dependent teams, and improved overall release readiness without altering feature coverage.
