Worked on the open-edge-platform/edge-microvisor-toolkit repository to deliver an upgrade of the OS-AB-Update Tool from version 2.5 to 2.6, focusing on enhancing update integrity for edge devices. The approach involved implementing filesystem checks and fixing dm-verity hashing, which together reduced the risk of update failures and improved security during over-the-air updates. Leveraging expertise in build systems and package management, the work included updating the spec file, changelog, and release tagging to ensure traceability and reproducible builds. The result was a release-ready artifact that streamlined deployment cycles and strengthened the reliability of the update process for the platform.
