Worked on the open-edge-platform/edge-ai-libraries repository to integrate the model-registry microservice with the Geti SDK, focusing on improving project and model handling workflows. Migrated the service from GetiManager to GetiSdk, which involved updating environment variable requirements and removing outdated code to streamline the architecture. Utilized Python, FastAPI, and Docker to refactor the microservice, add necessary dependencies, and reduce technical debt. All changes were validated and merged into the main branch after thorough review by the author and co-authors. This work enhanced the maintainability and scalability of the microservice within a microservices-based API development environment.
