Worked on the idiomorph repository to enhance reliability and user experience by addressing a critical focus management issue during dynamic UI changes. Delivered a targeted bug fix in JavaScript that ensures robust restoration of user focus when morphing pages, specifically handling cases where the restored element is not an input. Applied defensive programming techniques and DOM manipulation skills to safeguard against runtime errors, such as guarding setSelectionRange calls. Maintained clear commit hygiene and traceability throughout the process. This work improved accessibility and reduced UI glitches, directly supporting front end development goals and minimizing support overhead related to focus continuity issues.
