Developed and delivered a new packaging solution for PDFtoPrinter in the nushell/winget-pkgs repository, focusing on automated and silent deployment across neutral architectures. The work involved creating a YAML-based package manifest that included the installer, locale files, and version information, enabling seamless, unattended installations. Leveraging skills in package management and YAML, the implementation ensured compatibility for cross-architecture deployment strategies and provided traceability by linking the package to a specific issue and commit for future auditability. This contribution addressed the need for streamlined, automated software distribution, supporting maintainability and reuse in subsequent releases without introducing any bug fixes during the period.
