Developed and delivered an end-to-end RSS feed generator for the Olshansk/rss-feeds repository, automating the process of fetching, parsing, and converting blog post data into XML RSS feeds for Hamel Husain’s Blog. Leveraged Python for scripting the data extraction and transformation, and utilized Makefile to streamline build and integration tasks. The solution included updates to project documentation and build tooling, ensuring seamless integration into the existing workflow. By automating RSS feed generation, the work reduced manual effort and improved maintainability, enabling efficient blog syndication. The project was completed in a single commit, with no major bugs reported during the period.
