Worked on the DioxusLabs/dioxus repository to enhance desktop application dependency compatibility, focusing on supporting both Dioxus Desktop and Tauri within a unified Cargo workspace. Addressed cross-platform development challenges by upgrading and aligning dependencies, including wry and webkit2gtk-sys, to ensure stable coexistence and reproducible builds. Emphasized dependency management and workspace alignment using Rust, which reduced fragmentation and improved build stability. Incorporated explicit git commit pinning and a link checker to proactively catch dependency issues. This work laid the foundation for smoother future feature delivery, improved platform parity, and maintainability across desktop components, though no major bug fixes were documented.
