Worked on backend development for the Mirascope/mirascope repository, focusing on improving media resource accessibility. Addressed a recurring HTTP 403 Forbidden error encountered during media loading by modifying HTTP requests to include a browser-like User-Agent header. This targeted bug fix, implemented in Python, ensured that media resources could be fetched reliably, resulting in smoother playback and fewer user-facing errors. The solution involved careful manipulation of HTTP headers and maintained backward compatibility with the existing media loading flow, requiring no changes to the public API. Demonstrated skills in debugging, HTTP request handling, and Git version control throughout the development process.
