Worked on reliability and rendering improvements across cloudflare/partykit and aseprite/aseprite, focusing on targeted bug fixes. In cloudflare/partykit, addressed WebSocket lifecycle management by implementing state-aware disconnect logic in TypeScript and Node.js, ensuring sockets in the CONNECTING state are properly closed to prevent resource leaks and thundering herd issues during retries. In aseprite/aseprite, contributed a C++ fix to the ellipse filling algorithm, correcting an early stopping condition to stabilize tip rendering for thin ellipses and enhance visual fidelity for artists. Maintained clear documentation and commit traceability, emphasizing maintainability and reproducibility throughout the patching and algorithm development process.
