Emre enhanced the email notification system for the thiws24/equipli repository by developing a new feature that delivers location-aware pickup and return reminders. He introduced HTML templates and integrated location variables into email DTOs, enabling notifications to include specific pickup and return locations for greater clarity. Using Java for backend development and leveraging template engine technologies, Emre aligned the notification flow with updated templates to support richer, data-driven communication. This work addressed ambiguity in user workflows by providing more informative reminders, laying a foundation for future notification improvements. The project demonstrated focused backend engineering and thoughtful integration of email services.
