During April 2025, Emsaa focused on improving the build process for the CKS-Systems/manifest repository, addressing a critical issue with incorrect ESM build output. By refining the JavaScript-based build system, Emsaa ensured that ESM artifacts now align with expectations across different environments, enhancing compatibility for downstream consumers and supporting more reliable deployments. The work involved a targeted bug fix and a patch-level version bump to maintain versioning hygiene and traceability. Leveraging expertise in JavaScript development and build systems, Emsaa’s contribution improved build reproducibility and reduced potential surprises during deployment, demonstrating careful attention to release quality and process integrity.
