Omid Rasa delivered comprehensive Pashto language localization for the pkp/ojs repository, enabling a fully translated user interface and communications for Pashto-speaking users. He consolidated and managed locale files across the core application, editor component, email templates, API, and the user import/export plugin, ensuring consistency throughout the platform. Utilizing PO files and the Weblate translation platform, Omid established an efficient workflow for ongoing updates and streamlined translation management. His work focused on internationalization and localization, improving accessibility and reducing future localization effort. The depth of the implementation addressed both technical integration and process optimization for sustained multilingual support.
